MASSsymbol Welcome to Multicultural Academic & Support Services

Welcome to the Multicultural Academic and Support Services website. Inside you will find out information about our programs and services. The MASS offices assist multicultural and first generation students on the University of Central Florida campus by providing academic support which will help students become successful on the UCF campus. One of the ways that support is provided is through our three major programs.

Seizing Opportunities through Achievement and Retention Program ( SOAR) - A six week summer bridge program designed to help students make the transition from High school to College

First Generation Program - This program assist first generation students by providing guidance and resources to promote their self esteem, confidence and academic achievement at the University.

Brother to Brother Program - B2B is intended to increase the retention and graduation rates of multicultural and first generation males at UCF. Workshops, rap-sessions and social events are planned in order to help this population become academically successful.

If you are interested in any of the program listed above, please review the program information on the website or contact the MASS office.
It is my desire and hope that you will take advantage of the resources not only in our website, but also here in the MASS office. We are here to assist and help you meet your academic and career goals. I invite you to visit us at any time.

On behalf of the MASS staff, we look forward to assisting you on your journey at UCF. Please visit our office in Howard Phillips Hall, Room 102.

Kindest regards,

Wayne Jackson
